Understanding the urban fabric is important in our design of mixed-use projects. Combining living and working in our projects started in the 1980s with the renovation of the Billy Goat Strut Apartments on East Main Street in Louisville which contains office space on the street level and apartments which overlook a courtyard garden. Our commitment to livable communities continues with projects that integrate schools, offices, parking, retail and condominiums. Creating green spaces is critical to our mixed-use projects which incorporate extensive gardens over parking decks and intensive green roof terraces.
