Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) provides IT technical support to companies and their current office space had reached capacity. They purchased property near downtown Louisville for their new headquarters and hired Potter & Associates Architects. The new office building contains 15,000 sq ft per floor and has space for future expansion. The architectural design is a new two-story office building with metal panels and glass walls. The entry faces south to the main street and the design provides for a large overhang and obliquely placed windows to allow natural light in but shield the direct southern exposure. The wing walls were slightly curved to help in distribution of the East and West sunlight within the open plan space. The interior office space is an open plan concept with collaborative conference spaces and an open kitchen with café seating. Potter & Associates architects provided complete architectural, structural, MEP design as well as interior design and furniture coordination.
